How to Sow and Plant
I live in New Jersey, and purchased these seeds and Planted on March 27 2016 . I sowed seeds in 72 cell seedling tray with 2 seed per cell, filled with potting mix. It was cold and wind and I decided to place this indoors for 2 weeks. After placing the tray indoors, near the window where there is ample light, I am very happy to say that all most all seeds that I sowed germinated and these are tiny plants now.

Planting in Garden
Its time to replant them outdoor. With a spoon, dig small holes in the soil the same size as the seedling roots. Plant the marigolds in the holes and gently firm soil around the plants. Keep the soil moist in an area with direct sunlight.
They're all pretty and all growing well. They have nice long stems for bouquets, they smell sweet, and bees and butterflies seem to like them.
Review
Good germination rate. Less care needed. But lost half of them to squirrels.
